What you'd type

Make a 2-minute video about [your topic] in the reelstyles impasto style. Show me the scene plan first.

Briefs we tested this kit with

  1. Make a 30-second 16:9 film about a night bakery: the oven lights the street one window at a time (colour re-laid by the knife, from grey to amber). Shots: wide of the grey street with one lit oven door, macro on the oven pulling back, same wide again in colour. One title laid in with the knife. Render it to out.mp4.
  2. Make a 40-second 16:9 film about how a river becomes a sea: overhead crane-out where boats leave coloured wakes that build a map of the delta (motion paints the picture), raking light at the end. Captions of at most six words. Render it to out.mp4.
  3. Make a 25-second 16:9 film about one sunrise on a harvest field: a still frame whose light moves hour by hour (locked wide, raking light), one viridian tractor as the only coloured thing at first. Ending: the light goes out until only the ridges glow. Render it to out.mp4.
