Whiteboard explainer animation style

Motion graphics · 16:9 / 9:16

An explainer drawn live on one glossy dry-erase board: handwriting written stroke by stroke, floating markers, a magnet coin, a felt eraser and a camera that travels across the board. Ships a foley generator for the marker sounds.

8-second cut from a test film, sound off. Made by a fresh Claude Code with only this kit in an empty folder.

What you'd type

Make a 2-minute video about [your topic] in the reelstyles whiteboard style. Show me the scene plan first.

Briefs we tested this kit with

  1. "How does compound interest work?" (60 s, money). Title SNOWBALL → a graph with a straight "saving" line and a curved "investing" line → a magnet coin rides the curve → highlight and circle the gap → eraser wipes the title, pull back to the whole board. Shots: hold, whip, push, pull-back.
  2. "Why is the sky blue?" (75 s, science). Open on a huge `?` shrunk into the sun (circle + rays), a sun ray drawn as an arrow splitting into three colours (ink / sig / hot), a person (`person`) looking up, the formula written term by term while the voice says it, the answer circled twice. Use `dashed` for light paths and a duet of two pens.
  3. "How a startup makes money" (90 s, business). A timeline drawn left to right (the pen leads the camera), boxes (`box`) for cost / price / profit with `arrow`s between them, a magnet coin dropping into each box with a clack, the eraser rewinding a bad plan, a final `bars` chart and a highlighter under the one number that matters.
